An attraction forms when a Chinese American girl visiting Hong Kong for the first time meets an American expat who shows her the way, but timing may not quite be on their side. A walk and talk romance set in the beautiful city of Hong Kong, the film asks the question – what happens when you meet the right person at the wrong time?

  12. So he shows her around the city twice? Is this a movie or an ad for Hong
Kong tourism?! Not to mention, you hear about this “wrong time” junk twice
but get no hint to why. Sorry, I’ll wait for Netflix.

  13. When does being nice stop and the lying begins?

  14. Spoiler – They both die of mercury poisoning at the end :(

  15. Seriously! When are they going to have an Asian male lead actor going after
a female Caucasian woman in a movie??! Ugh

  16. Kenneth Wayne Lee II

i really wanna see more movies with minority actors taking lead roles like
    this

  38. Brought to you by the Hong Kong Authority of Tourism.

Also I get the feeling this was supposed to be about an Asian Hong Kong guy
meeting a white girl from the States…

But of course we know Hollywood can’t let that happen.

Glenn and Maggie was enough… NEVER AGAIN!

  39. Song used in this trailer is ->>> Young London – That Feeling

  40. Jamie Chung <33333

  41. Do you never get tired of repeating the same stories again and again!!!

  42. As a Hongkonger this movie looks boring :/

  43. This should be a shortfilm not a movie, but if youre bored i guess its
    entretaining

  44. have no clue what its going to be about except the obvious love story.
    still kinda interested.

  45. Is this the upgraded modern form of “me love you long time” ?

  46. My, my! I see that Jamie Chung, a second generation Korean American, while
in college was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, according to Wiki. But I
think this same Wiki has done a great disservice by not mentioning the
awful history of the Greek letter societies on college campus. She’s
definitely has benefited from the aftermath of Brown v the Board of
Education of 1954. You see, once upon a time, all “non whites” were
relegated to International House on “white” campuses. In fact, the
National Panhellenic Clinics were veritable civil war battlegrounds. Lo,
if anyone fraternity/sorority dared pledge a black or Jewish student once
upon a time, business leaders would fly in from wherever, threatening
“excommunicate” any breach of the “white only” codes. So Wiki did an
injustice to the justice we see in her elevation to a sorority by not
shedding light on how discrimination went far beyond black students. I
have a copy of a bio of William S. Paley, who was a member of an all Jewish
fraternity at, I believe, U Penn, unable to rush any other fraternity due
to his being Jewish. I would assume Asians had their own frats/sororities,
too. There wasn’t too much of a Latino presence pre 1954, except at
graduate school, then wealthy Latinos from South America. Congressman Pete
McCloskey addressed these concerns once upon a time.

  47. finally a asian lead!!

  48. Great another one showing white guys banging Asian girls. So amazing

  57. Fun Facts:

hearted, indie film by a female writer/director that wanted to tell her own
    story about Hong Kong.

  78. This is basically an ad for hong kong

  79. Someone FINALLY makes a film set in Hong Kong and this is what they come up
    with? Sigh…

  80. Another dickless movie with a false story to capture the empty minds of the
    gynosapians.

  81. The best thing about this movie is that you get to watch Jamie Chung and
Brian Greenburg actually fall in love on screen.

  82. Produced by Hong Kong tourism board.

  83. aha, “Before Sunrise” in Hong Kong?

  84. does anybody know what song is playing in the trailer?

  85. they’re married in real life.

  86. Watched this on Royal Brunei Airline and loved it until the ending! Talk
about the quickest ending ever. I know it’s meant to be a cliff hanger but
it just seemed like they ran out of their budget and couldn’t do the ending
or something – seemed half done at that point.

  96. You’ll probably see me in this film at Lang Kwai Fong vomiting in a corner
from that cheap shitty vodka they sell in the 711 opposite Stormies whilst
a bunch of Gambian dudes try to sell coke to every drunk white person they
    see.

Oh and this movie looks shallower than a puddle on a warm day.
